NEW RESPONSES 11-17-2005! In the early days of the World Wide Web, students at Carnegie Mellon University created forum2000.org, a website which simulated philosophers, celebrities, and fictional characters in an experiment in heuristic networking. The net result of the experiment was a series of absurd answers to absurd questions, years before the advent of Strong Bad Emails. Inspired by Forum 2000 and its imitators and successors, we hereby present the WLP Forum, the place where your favorite WLP characters answer your questions, give advice about your life, and expand your knowledge of philosophy... ... or not. Depends on your questions, really. Click on one of this week's featured panelists to choose them as advocate for your question:
And what is it you wish to discuss? Please give us the whole terrible story. Omit nothing. Panelists may answer or not as they feel like it. Your selected panelist may or may not be the one to respond to your question. The panelists will give your questions all the respect it deserves... so be warned. :) We ask that you restrict your questions to ONE PER DAY. It will take about a day for the responses to your question to be posted to the Responses page. The answers recieved in this Forum are not representative of WLP editorial policy. This is strictly an entertainment service. DO NOT FOLLOW ANY ADVICE GIVEN BY THE WLP PANELISTS. It will often be unhelpful, frequently painful, occasionally illegal, and even impossible. Again, use this service only for your amusement.
