EDITED: For quite some time now, we've sent notices through our online store to everyone when their order ships. That said: please, still, don't ask.

Seriously, don't, not until your order is at LEAST two months old.

Don't ask us to verify receipt of your order, either, because that's also asking, "When are you going to send it?"

Here are factors which can, and probably will, delay your order:

(1) Stock. Non-comic items, such as art portfolios and T-shirts, go in and out of stock. WLP doesn't have full control over replacing them, which means your order may remain on backorder for quite some time until the missing items come back into stock.

(2) Money. WLP operates on a wing and a prayer... and I'm agnostic. Even with our sadly high S&H rates, often we don't have the money to go buy the minimal supplies for shipping, much less pay the postage to ship.

(3) Location. Shipping stuff out entails a trip into the county seat- thirty miles one way. This means we're going to prefer to wait until we have several packages to ship before any go out. That can take weeks, or even months, because with the first two problems and other issues we don't get very many mail orders AT ALL.

When your name (or a known alias) pops up, your order has either shipped or will ship very shortly indeed.

If you don't see something after about two months, ask about the status of your order. DO NOT ASK WHEN IT IS SHIPPING- we don't know, and we're likely to ignore your email rather than say, "We don't know." We only answer emails when we have an answer worth sending. Questions about the status, however, will likely get an answer- "we got it, here's why it hasn't shipped."
