Yes, that's right. For several hours Wednesday afternoon and evening the boards were down, because I tried- and failed- to use automatic upgrade on them.

They're up now mainly due to a complete and total new installation.

Unfortunately, the old system that banished the spambots is GONE. Vaya con dios. I don't know how it worked, and nobody volunteered to help teach me, so it's probably gone for good. Hopefully phpBB 3.0.8 has something as good or better built-in. We'll have to watch, wait, and see.

Hey, for what it's worth, I like the new layout. It's a little easer to read.

Yeah. And this morning, while over 200 miles from the office, I had to deal with the first spambot already.

I'm going to have to see if I can find the patch the old boards had that worked so well, and get it on the new install- if it still functions.
