WikiWLP Needs You!

Yes, White Lightning Productions now has a Wikipedia of its very own. Maybe someday we'll be important enough to feature on the main Wikipedia, but for now we have a place where seekers of information can read about WLP creations, creators, and other stuff.



However, just now I'm the only registered writer. I've only got entries in for WLP, myself (Kris Overstreet), John Barrett and YowCow thus far.

I'll commit to one article per day, but we could use more writers. We could ESPECIALLY use the creators writing up their own entries, and the entries for their characters. Until that happens, though, I'll let you, the board readers, pick which Wiki entry I should write next.

And Lightfoot, there's several things fans could do.

* Encourage me to write. By picking out articles you want written, you give me motivation. As it is, I'm just drifting, thinking, "Well, there's so damn many of 'em, which one do I pick?"

* Discuss entries. Found a factual error? Think some vital information is missing? Want a link to explain some term you don't understand? That's what the Discussion tab on each Wiki entry is for.

* Start an entry. I can always come back and edit an entry into shape, but just now there's a lot of links that only lead to an empty edit window. Even if you only know a little, getting a stub going is worth it.

One entry I'd be interested in is an entry for Chichi-chan. I'd like to know a bit about the origin of the character, for one, and the concepts that were worked through before the final one, along with more general info.

So far, the entries seem pretty strong. Comparing them to similar entries on the "real" wikipedia, I can't say that they're any worse, they strike me as fairly well written.
