Well I have my own theory to this. Perhaps the source of lycanthropy (enzymes, magic, whatever it is) eventually wears down and produces overall weaker werewolves if it's passed only through natural reproduction. Peter could be as small and weak as he is simply because whatever it is that makes him a werewolf has been passed through birth for several generations and hasn't had a chance to "attack new blood" so to speak. Since it was pent up for so long it just simply exploded when exposed to Sarah's bloodstream and made her huge.

This would suggest that, while dangerous to do so, it would be vital to spread lycanthropy by infecting humans now and then rather than solely through standard birth among already existing werewolves.

One suspects that Butch Cramer is different in the "dilution" theory. Although both parents were Werewolves, perhaps the "dilution" wasn't as intense...or perhaps one of her parents was First-gen Were'...either way would work.
After all, the Cramer "Household" isn't exactly out of "Better Caves and Wolfbane" magazine, and Gus Cramer is decidedly not your normal Werewolf...not at all...

Also, because 12 ft tall werewolf girls and werewolf runtboys make for an interesting story... It's like having something so forbidden but great once you get your hands on it, but as soon as you do, something happens.


Look at all those movies like Dracula 2000, They took something that was forbidden and enjoyed it, but died soon after. Though i'm merely just illistrating apoint.

Not many of those romcoms have had the intelligent woman turning into a 12 foot tall werewolf driven purely by instinct.

Other than that though, I think the relationship does parallel the mould... Peter seems like he's a bit of a slacker, not exactly the sharpest tool in the box and yeah, kind of goofy. Sarah sounds like she's a clever, thoughtful - if quite shy girl... Hmm, the juxtaposition of her and her thrall persona is remniscent of Sweater Puppy.

Because Sweater Puppy doesn't carry the actual werewolf strain (as far as I know <.< >.>), as discussed earlier were's can tell each other from normal people... She probably smells funny...

As for the exposure bit, much like CCM, she has a tendancy to "chew on shoes" whenever she gets the chance... That and it would be really awkward when a group of frat boys drive by who just happen to be mooning a crowd with Martina there who just happens to turn into a 7 foot wolf... Least with regular wolves who usually change at the full moon, or during extreme stress which can be curbed with wolfs bane.
