Omake, January 20

The first page of a three-part omake- done to give Ben time to work on a story for Bootleg #17 at the last minute and for me to thrash out as much script for Chapter 5 of PitW as possible...

Personnatly, I find it great. It can be an omake, it's give explanation to the couple and show their emotions. It's a serious moment in the story, Sarah will have to stay away from her parents and seems to not be totally ready for that. Her whole little world falling apart and the only pillar that resist to the apocalypse is her boyfriend who also mainly responsable of this event (condom is not some useless thing).

This comic need at least a good page of drama. This page is like a pinch of salt that you drink some more orange juice, the sugar taste will be more intense after that before.

Actually, while I believe Jean said it to Rebecca, and it's probably part of the Lore, it's hard to say if Peter and Sarah know this. Peter may, but Sarah probably won't. Not that it really matters...yet.
Mind you, all they have to do is move out of the local pack's region of influence and that Mated for Life thing becomes moot. Every pack is, I think, autonomous in what it does and doesn't allow/require.
All that aside, if your spouse could turn into an eleven foot-eight inch tall Werewolf, would you cheat? Would you complain if she did?
Thought not...
It's already been demonstrated that Peter's Were' "education" is somewhat lacking in the fine details. Given the choice, he'd probably move away and pretend to be Smoothskin, not Were'. With Sarah, he may just discover he's more of a Man, and more of a Wolf, than he thinks he is. But that's for Kris to show us, later.

For some reason, I have the feeling that someone will complete their 'were' education. The thrall need to know all the rule and i have the feeling that Peter will learn what he didn't know in the same time. Nobody want that a another mistake happen.

Well it's mentioned in the back-story that Peter is "willing to please" , so could it be she likes him because he's a genunine "good guy" ?

I personanly can't say , but we may be looking at a case of " thenice guy not finishing last".

Perhaps before she got "toothy" she tought that the relationship would be stable and nice. ( as opposed to the more flighty and self-centered types she could have been stuck in a relationship with...)

make no mistakes , Peter is a good person (if more than a little "down-trodden"...)

Peter and Sarah. What a combination. I believe she does like him quite a bit; she chose him to relieve her of her Virginity.
I don't think that Sarah is any less driven by "instincts" than her alter-ego, the Wuff is. She just makes less of them, that's all.
The Wuff is, at least, honest that way.
Peter needs someone he can be a Hero to, and the Wuff is that someone.
The Wuff knows that Peter is the only male who can "cause her happiness", and the Wuff is no fool.
I think Petey is gonna wind up with a lot of work to do, but I also think he can do it, even sitting at a custom-made desk, looking at pictures of Cristina Aguilar undressed.
Yeah, he is a good guy; at least he tries to be. He's the usual scatterbrained Teen, but that passes. He is going to realize that Sarah really does need him, despite what she says. That will be worth more than Gold to him. It'll be validation!
The Wuff likes him because he's a nice guy too: he finishes last...

That's the odd thing: The girl spends years changing her mate, then complains "He's not the same man she married" Go figure...
