Sadly enough, that'd probably be the safest, smartest, and most logical thing to do - if the pack could influence Nameless University to fiddle with their schedules they could probably get an extended leave of absence until Sarah can control herself. Her daddy would probably be trickier to deal with, but given his attentions span can be measured in terms of half-lives of elements with an atomic number above 113, he could probably be dealt with by creating a faux conspiracy to chase after.

I guess story continuity trumps reason once again.

It wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to "put them on a bus" and have their little problem get solved a fair distance away - "Meanwhile, at the cabin in the woods, our Hero works to get our Heroine's woofing out under some semblance of control..."

But NOT permanently - Once that control happens, they can come back to town and get into the regular flow of crazy stuff. Till then, you can shift the scene back and forth every few strips as needed.

Yes, having Nameless U. send them on an archaeological expedition for a semester would be a convenient way to do it. They just have to get away from her daddy long enough.
