On July 28, 2010, our fearless (and hairless) leader Kris Overstreet was returning home after picking up some T-shirts for Anime Iowa when a pickup truck turned across traffic in front of him. Unable to stop or dodge in time, the old 1992 Ford Explorer, known with no great fondness as the Exploder in WLP circles, hit the passenger-side front of the pickup. The resulting crash has, for all practical purposes, totalled the Exploder; it will never run again.
Kris has borrowed a van (that gets only slightly more than half the miles per gallon of the Exploder) for tomorrow's trip to Iowa (the longest trip he's going to make this year). When he gets back, he'll have to go shopping for a replacement SUV or van before AnimeFEST in Dallas Labor Day weekend. All in all, this means that WLP needs a LOT of money really, REALLY fast.
(And, suffice to say, this puts back WLP print projects for at least a couple months. Dammit.)
So WLP is asking for your help- ASAP, please- by donating and/or buying things at the WLP Online Store.

WAPSI SQUARE: "MONICA" PATCH TOGETHER STATUE - $90
When Patch Together made a special run of statues based on the main character of Wapsi Square character Monica Villareal, WLP ordered a few as an experiment. Unfortunately we were NOT able to get a wholesale discount of any sort. On the other hand, there was only the one production run, done to fill pre-orders- so this may well be your LAST or ONLY chance to get one of these statues!
Statues are made of resin and come in either two or three parts (head is packed separate from body; wooden base is glued to feet on some but not on others). A tube of Chinese super glue is included with each figure... but, based on WLP's experience in assembling our display, we strongly recommend you get your own bottle.

Normally $26, but our whole stock got scuffed up a bit after traveling from one convention to another. We won't be restocking this one for a while, so we're selling our remaining stock at a loss to make sure they get good homes!
These CD-ROMs full of MP3 content hold nearly five HOURS of early Luke Ski comedy, recordings of live shows (including a whole section on Stalling for Time at GenCon), and other unusual treasures to stoke the pride of any true obsessive fan of the Great Luke Ski!

Nothing wrong with the CDs- we're just cutting the price in half for the holidays to get them out of here. Yes, the CD really is that dumb. When Rob Balder (of Partially Clips and Erfworld fame, to say nothing of his own filking) and ShoeBox of Worm Quartet decide to do a whole album over the course of a weekend to sell at a convention the following weekend... this stupid, STUPID humor is the result.

WLP ART PRINTS GRAB BAG - 5 FOR $10
WLP has quite a few art prints by various artists of various WLP characters. We'd like to get them into fans' hands. People ordering this item will select which WLP comics- Peter is the Wolf, Milkmaid, Chocolate Milkmaid, Chichi-chan, or Nipple Magician- they like, and we'll choose five art prints based on those selections and send 'em to the lucky buyers!
All art prints are 8.5" X 11", printed on card stock. Some may be laminated for further protection, depending on supplies.
