Where it really started is probably lost in the electronic fog of the net.noise, but the ongoing debate over Ninjas vs Pirates enlivens many a party at gaming and anime conventions. Frankly, being dyed-in-the-wool SF fans ourselves, we knew all along that neither Ninjas nor Pirates could possibly last more than a millisecond against an equal number of Jedi, and the exclusion of that noble and powerful group from the discussion has always mystified us. Thus, the idea for this shirt was born; the rest will, we hope, be history.
