Unashamedly so. Also of Sweeney Todd, Spamalot and many more. Just that movie was wretched. actually, both Les Miz and Todd had movie, adaptations fouled by directors who did not get the point.

And Barnum....
And Urinetown...

Having seen the show several times, in London, the film had a lot to live up to...

Having seen Liam Neeson in a non-musical adaptation, the movie had a lot to live up to.
