He killed off half the Dirty Pair in Fatal,But Not Serious, (well, cloning issues). And at the end of his run on Gen 13, he killed off everyone.

Meh, as long as it doesn't hit George R. R. Martin levels of death, i.e. killing off loads of main characters just to make the point that anyone can die.
